Q1 · Understanding decisions
How can we interpret algorithmic decisions and model human decision-making?
Making algorithmic behavior interpretable and modeling the environmental and social contexts that shape decisions.
Human–AI systems · Visualization · Interpretable AI
I study how people and AI agents can work together in systems that remain interpretable, robust, and open to meaningful human intervention.

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Digital Technology for Democracy Lab at the University of Virginia. My research brings together visualization, interpretable AI, and human–AI systems.
I received my Ph.D. in Data Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and my M.S. in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University.
Q1 · Understanding decisions
Making algorithmic behavior interpretable and modeling the environmental and social contexts that shape decisions.
Q2 · Designing interaction
Designing interfaces for expressing preferences and interrogating scores, classifications, and rankings, while studying how adversarial manipulation can undermine explanations.
Q3 · Preserving agency over time
Studying how human agency can persist through human–AI handoffs, and revisiting explanation and interaction to support that agency over time.
